Abhraneil is a PhD student, working on interdisciplinary human factors research on the topics of distracted pedestrian safety using immersive VR environments, acoustic situation awareness, the role of audio in AR technology using grounded theory, and motion sickness in automated vehicles. He enjoys serving as a reviewer and student volunteer for conferences, and enjoys going on nature hikes when not working. He received his MSE degree in Automotive Systems Engineering from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, and Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from KIIT University.
